Questions about owning a new website
Will my website belong to me?Yes. It will be your property. You will own it. This is why it is important that you pay for your own Domain name and Hosting package yourself (I will support you through this, don't worry). Chiefly, these are fixed costs, ie payable every year by ANYONE who owns a website.
Can I add to my small business website later as my business grows?Yes, of course you can. Firstly, see an example on my front page - Hartshill Bible Church- of a growing Church. Then, you can either go forward adding your own content using the instructions that come with your website, or you can have the service as part of my maintenance plan. Do you provide logo design for my new business?Yes. This is quite a specialist skill that would be an additional cost. However, it doesn't have to be eye-wateringly so. We can work together to find what is best for your new website. However, there are a number of 'free' online logo making software packages, but they are limited. An example of a logo I designed is for Hartshill Bible Church. They chose the colour and gave me an idea of what they wanted. I then presented them with 2 designs to choose from. Do you provide instructions on how to look after my website?Yes; I provide written instructions so that you can have a go at updating your own posts and news stories etc. But, if you are struggling for time, I provide MAINTENANCE packages to suite your needs for an affordable price.
Do you offer WooCommerce sites?At present, no. That doesn't mean you can't sell from your website - you can! Please BOOK A CALL with me and we can discuss your exact requirements - half hour call for free.
Looking after my existing website
Why does my website need looking after? As with anything we own, including a website, they need looking after. My blog post 'Top 5 reasons why you need website maintenance'will explain more but you are looking at time, money, expertise, branding/image and security.
Can you look after my existing website for me?Yes, absolutely! We offer a couple of packages which should suit you and your budget.
I don't know how my website is preforming - will you do a review of it for me?Yes, I offer this service which also comes with a report and recommendations of what I find. Also, if you then decide to go with me to action my recommendations I will give you a 20% discount.
My website is with Ionos, Wix etc. can you update my website but keep it there?Yes, absolutely! This is because I have experience and can, therefore, update it where it is saving moving hosts. Bear in mind, though, if you want to increase the size of your website drastically, your existing hosting provider may charge more to upgrade your package.
